350Z brakes??? Can they fit on my s13?

Soooooo the 350z comes stock with 4 pod Brembo calipers and 5 stud hubs and discs.

I would take a wild guess and say that they are much better than our stock brakes and parts are much more easy to come by.(most probably cheaper)

but the question is can I fit the 350z hub onto my s13 and the caliper and so forth????

no - the calipers are not a straight bolt on...

and technically - nor are the s14 calipers. the brake lines dont fit! you need custom lines to make them fit!

Would make a cool mod though... I think it will be crazy expensive to get the parts though...

The PCD is also 5 x 114 on the 350z.

ya the disc will fit the standard 5 stud upgrade that many people do on their s13's, although i'm not sure about the disc height though.

but they would look alright.

a big set of alcon 8 pot calipers with 4 pot at the rear would look a lot better though!

for now - i'll just stick to me Z32 calipers, they're WAAAYYYY better than the s14 ones!

Id rather pay the $$$ for the brembos off the 350z and know they decent than pay the $$ for something that I dont know and doesnt know if it works!

Why else would nissan have fitted the Brembos to the 350??

because most of the world's population mistakenly think that its either brembo's or nothing. brembo's have an excellent reputation, and most people would rather go with what they've heard from the media, instead of doing the research themselves!

there are lots of excellent brake parts manufacturers out there! but basically, the name brembo sells more cars than the name alcon!

True VC. Z32 brakes work great.

I must agree with Hanco there, we ran loads of different brakes on our racing cars and still brembo came out tops every time.....
