The console has been modified to fit the screen. Its a modified normal S13 one (very neatly done with piano black finish), I'm in parklands (cape town) if anyone wants to take a look. The prices are negotiable...
Unfortunately not a touchscreen (wouldnt sell if it was!)
DocG, U can get the shift boot for R190 (and i'll chuck in the console free!)

Has the face of the consol been modified in any way, I want to use it to make a mould.

@ Beachslapper - If the screen is in the position where the head unit should fit, then where do u position the head unit? The car already has a limited space for other components like additional gauges and gadgets in the dash and console, unless you pull a Vlade...

Is it not difficult to view this screen whilst the gear lever is in 5th gear position? I'm keen on fitting a double din Kenwood dvd unit with screen on the front into my SX, but just a tad bit concerned about viewing therof, especially if I'm gonna run my Garmin through the head unit....

Depends on the size of your knob... if u have a small knob it should be ok.
