i'd prefer to keep the lot together, but if you give me a decent offer, i might consider separating it.
obviously the rebuilt engine makes up the majority of the cost, but i'm open to offers. PM me if you want to make the offer private!
cheers mate!

My pleasure... I'm glad for the deal, looking forward into building a CA18DET DATTO... That will wipe your SR's arse
Hehe... Nah one of the big motivations behind him buying it is that he knows hes way around the CA since he was my padawan a couple times... and know that yours are already tuned and has proven reliability.
In a 800kg body I think that thing will haul ass!

yeah - in my heavy car its too slow for me. but it will be a funny day when my old engine hands my new engine its own ass!!!!
LOL. i reckon its a good choice for the ol' datto body.
but its not really tuned. its mostly stock hey. i told danie the best two things about the engine are the forged pistons, and the balancing.
i remember him saying it felt so smooth.
well - lets all hope it works out lekka for both of us. cos then we can have a race to laugh at the SR!!!

Yeah he has an engine now... now he needs to overcome another issue... Diff told him a ford 9inch or alfa diff should do the job nicely...

eish - what about an SX independent rear setup???!!!??? LOL.
buddies of mine used an alfa LSD in the back of a nissan bakkie quite successfully. the owner kept breaking it, but thats only because he was driving like a fool!
