Im going to have to do this sometime so is there any one that can give me an estimate on how much it will cost to totaly rebuild the engine. where to go? who to talk to?
New pistons and bearings and rods etc. preaferably slightly stronger parts... just not full on racing products.

i have a budget. hehe. unless origionals are strong enough. have a T4 hybrid turbo on boosting 1.5bar. 190Kw on wheels
modds: dictator management system
T4 hybrid
beeeeg intercooler
electric fan
dump valve and bigger wastegate

I'd say if you have the time and money, do it yourself. The knowledge you would gain would be irriplaceable.
Otherwise I can recommend Snail Conversions (011 794 9961) Riaan does great work. I'm sure the other guys can give a few more contacts.

If I can recommend people, talk to Duane "The Calibrator" he'll sort you out, they have rebuild a couple of motors for the guys at the Nismo forum... everyone there seems to be happy

I redid mine for R6500 but I didn't replace oil pump and pistons, adding the pistons and the oil pump will definately double the figure.
