Howzit all,

After struggling with my pads and disks on my S13 I decided to go and to a S14 brake conversion, seeing that it is easier to get parts and prices seems to cheaeper too.

Any advice or opinions?

yes - i dont think its going to be cheaper or easier with the s14 brakes, but its a good upgrade.

instead of looking at s14 calipers, look for the twin turbo nissan 300zx brakes. they're the same thing, but instead of cast iron, they're cast aluminium, so its much lighter!

S14 brakes are great!!
They work wonderfull, the only thing I found on my car, is that the normal DOT3 breakfluid has a low boiling point, so I would sugest running on DOT4.
S14 hase the same brake's than the R33 Skyline...

not entirely correct charel.

yes they are the same design, and they take the same pads, but the difference is the weight!

s14 = cast iron = very heavy calipers

z32/r32/r33 (and probably a few more chassis types) = cast aluminium = very light!!!

but they are both equally effective!
