I am looking for a set of old engine mounts if any of you kept yours after changing them. I want to get them remanufactured but cant be without my car so once I have fitted them I will gladly send you my ones back.

would you like to know the eldorado park way???
it will only cost you about 50 bucks per mount, and they are stiffer than nismo mounts!!!
only thing is i'm not sure if they'll last very long.
BUT - even if they dont, its only 100 bucks (or slightly less) for a set of engine mounts. thats about 1500-00 cheaper than i paid for nismo mounts!

Tell me more please. I need them to be stiffer than they are now but not stiff enough too transmit vibrations.

Keeping everyone in suspense I see.
I have used Ford V6 mountings on mine, I bought 8 mountings, as these mountings do have a tendancy to break easily.
Are these also the mountings that VC and Hotstuff use.
I think it was R30 at Midas.
V8 mountings might be a better bet, but the diameter of the mounting is larger than the hole on the engine mount support and also the engine leg.

What Ford V8 mountings are these?? Are they a direct fit besides the hole size??

The height of the V8 mounting is closer to the original Nissan mountings.
Direct fit I don't know.
Who has the dimensions of the original nissan mount and I will compare to the V8 Mounting I have.
I will also post a pic of this mounting if the dimensions are similar.

The Ford V6 mount is about 35 - 50mm in height...

Ok. Cool, so my previous statement in the PM to Gary said cutting a rubber spacer of 2cm (20mm) would increase the height approx to original mounting.
I will measure the height of the V8 mounting tonight and let you know.
