Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

Apparently the guy i got my sx from said the ppl he bought the car off of had one of the quarter windows replaced due to an attempted brake in to steal sumthing off the seat or sum sh!t.

Never the less, he was not sure which one it was, but i hav a sneaky suspision it was the driver's side one.

But here is the problem, it is loose!
i think who ever installed it, did not do the best of jobs.

Now, before you all get carried away, yes, it is an original 200sx window, from nissan and at that brand new at the time.

any ideas? i know that they are fitted with that black glue stuff, correct?

any help wud be much appreciated as i don't exacly want to loose it whilst i am flying down the highway if you get my drift.

i think those windows also have screws that hold them in place.

i may be totally off track here, but i'm sure i remember seeing screws under the plastic coverings inside the car when i stripped out my interior.

why not take the car to a glass fitment place or a panelbeater and ask them to refit it for you???

now that u mention it, i do remem ber seeing some bracket like things.lol.

On my car (s14) Its basicly white plastic clips that pin into the body along with some sealer. Those clipsare however shite, as they don't really mate with the female holes of the body, this results in the window not sitting neat and tidy in its place, and leaves large gaps.

Mine was refitted when I re sprayed, then they cut the white clips of, they also broke one of the windows while trying to remove, its a full day job to remove and refit those Q panel windows. Well, that how long it took PG AUtoglass.
