What do you use?
Aside from the Redline stuff, is there anything local that works well in our CA18 tranny's and vlsd's?
Think gearbox and diff abuse here.

I bought Castrol premium gearbox oil for my gearbox from AutoZone. Good rating and not much more than the cheap ones.

as long as your choice has the correct rating, as in GLI4 for gearbox and GLI5 for diff, then its fine.
also - as long as you're happy with the brand name!

I agree, he must have cheated some or other way.

Ok I changed my gearbox and Diff oil this weekend.
Gearbox - SLik API-4 EK90 - R 130 (5 Liters) Midas
Diff oil - Castrol LSX API-5 90 - R 240 (5 Liters) AutoZone
The Diff and Gearbox oil was as black as night, The Gearbox oil made a big deference but the diff reacts the same
