Nope... car still having an issue, when boosting above 0.4 bar it seems something gets stuck or suck, because the car stalls heavily then rockets off again...

Think its the FPR, but yeah Martin never tuned it... was the guy from Signature Performance only Martin's place was used.

I had that, it was plugs. Go back to BCPR6ES, gap them to 0.8 and you will be perfect again. I think it is because you are over fueling so much that you cant get the plugs hot enough so are sooting them up.

The stock ECU requires a resistor plug, as with most stock fuel injection cars. The stock has a resistor hey BCPR6EC not BCP6ES??

IMHO, I dont think its possible to need enough fuel at 0.4 bar to kill spark on any plugs..., just a thought

p.s if you really want to try new plugs try the BCPR7ET's used them on my 350KW 16Vkadett - boosting up to 1.8Bar running 7Bar fuel pressure with 800cc injectors (also used MSD6A) - only needed the msd after we passed 1.2bar

the hesitation/shunt/suck/suffocate happens about 0.6 but only when you put your foot flat, if you gently work your way up, it doesn't do it

and yeah i'm not running the standard ecu, so if it was tuned badly it might just be getting too much/little petrol at that specific stage
