I am quite keen on finding out more info about turbo flutter. I'd love for my car to sound like that. I've seen/heard a few cars at the Ultimate Streetcar Challenge with that sound.
Any ideas on how to achieve it?
What are the pro's and con's of running a setup like this?
Please help...
For those that dunno what I'm talking about, check out this link and have a listen...

Remove the standard intake airbox and put a cone filter on, then you will get the flutter. Then if you replace that plastic 'elephant trunk' pipe that runs to the turbo with a metal hard pipe it gets loads louder.
This is where im at atm.
Im sure with a decent FMIC and metal boost pipes it will get louder still and then a larger turbo should round it off nicely

I have all of that but no flutter, thats because of my DV. When the vacuum line came off my DV then I had the flutter but thats not good for the turbo.

So if I put a metal Pipe directly inbetween the turbo and the AFM, its gonna sound louder....
How many mm pipe should I use.... 76mm?
Do I put a silicone connector... and does anything happen to performance...

I have an Aliminum pipe going to my turbo and it is loud, VERY loud. You hear the turbo sucking it ass off, its kinda irratating.

hearing a dumpvalve woosh rather than a wastegate flutter is much better for the turbo.
backpressure can seriously reduce the life of the turbo!
