The faster I drive the quieter it gets... must be because I'm nearing the sound barrier

No mine whistel at 120 and bad at 140-150. It is coming from the triangle thingy by the side mirror, the top point of it. If I push on the glass there it changes the sound of it. Can you replace the rubber around this thingy??

My sunroof starts the whistel at about 140 and just gets worse and worse. How hard do you pull the handle to close yours??

I modified my sunroof to close even harder... added some extra washers in there so the handle is bit further away from the body... now it shuts like a mother.

yeah, mine whistles from the same spot.

i've thought about replacing the door rubbers, but you can imagine what nissan wants for those items!!!

mine is wide open though. i have to be careful with the high pressure hose when washing!!!

the sunroof sometimes whistles, but not often. in fact i cant remember when last it did it. i remember looking for some way of making it shut tighter, but its always difficult to make things tighter!!! hahaha.

No mine still has adjustment so I could make it even tighter I am just worried about breaking the puter handle, I broke my last one.

I would actually like to know what Nissan want for that rubber, might be one of those surprise things where they might not be that bad. Is it part of the complete window rubber or just a seperate one??

Mine also whistel after about 180kph
solution I slow down.

seriously though I don't think it is the rubbers as much as the window cushin inside the door, they seem to loose that funny fluff.
The one time you dont want a BRAZILIAN.

I posted on another topic about how to expand out those old rubber weatherstrips by inserting plastic tubing through a hole on one side of the rubber and feeding it in all the way along the inside of the rubber.

those guys are nuts!!!

my dad and i have a running joke that if you need something for your nissan you can bank on it being about 2 grand.

so 830 + 830 (2 doors) = 1660.00 (almost 2 grand!!!)

i'd rather try toby's idea first.
