Phinx, why then the spare ecu? Everything else is new and upgraded. What are you going to do with the ecu?

If you are planning to open the motor balance lighten the bottom end, I did to mine and it makes a BIG difference.
Why dont you go for a dicktator or something??

Lol
Why the fascination about changing ECU's, I must still talk to the guy about his ECU price is a bit high.
Maybe Vl@de still has his spare,
I'm not planning work on the bottom end yet, I have a Car with a balanced Sub and it rev's free'ly so it does work but that when your fine tunning. I will get there some day

I got a spare but i'm sorta planning to sell it with my spare motor...
The best option for AM management is basically a SMT7 or so, the stock management is actually great, to fine tune the output use a pigyback, if you got the money people recommend XMS, if you really got the money go plug in Apexi AFC

What is wrong with Dicktator?? Yes it doesnt have all the fancy goodies like perfect power etc, but compare apples with apples. The Dicktator sell for R2000 what other EMS compares with it in that price range?? I think its the best bang for your buck.

Help your self to some reading above...
Agree with phinx, stock ECU is cool, problem I had with mine is that my stock loom was in the shitters and I got some funny problems... the ecu it self is fine somewhere along the line the ECU was reading something wrong, had heavy hesitation problems and so forth and the ECU indication lights didn't indicate anything wrong... got fed up and switched to Wolf 3D...
Imported the Wolf for R4200 brand new secondhand

the reason why I went wolf was that PP XMS didn't have sequential ignition what you will need to run the stock coils, but now they have
If you want solid advice on engine management for your S13/S14 talk to this man
http://www.thecalibrator.co.za/ he tuned my car and its good enough for every day driving... On the dictator we used for my friends car one could drive in traffic but it was heavy on juice, it didn't have any deceleration fueling... not my first choice... for R2600 you can get a pielle piggy back SMTP 7 and then its even tuned in...

I have read that post and have spoken to caver extensively. My arguement is for the price what EMS is better?? We will have to wait for Gremlin to come back and let us know how his car drives.
I would love the WOLF3D, because of the 2maps and hand held control. Vlade wana upgrade to perfect power and sell me your WOLF3D??

Not at the moment but if I knew they supported sequential ignition I would have taken it...
