Awesome results..any chance of making the next day of thunder dyno day? Think it's in Nov in Jetpark.

The car is going to Wesbank on Friday for some drifting and then down to PE on Saturday as far as I know.

What is in the motor to make that much power??

I agree, but prices will be cool aswell .

i think his words were, and i quote:

"its an sr20, and if you can think a part to put in there, its in there"

so basically the entire book of parts has been thrown at it!

thanks nismo200sx for posting the pics up....looks strong, lets hope it lasts...Guys as i said....the parts are one thing, but the headwork and so on is where the power is.. good cooler, good manifold, intake and exhaust, throttle body to match...the right size turbo, ans its all good...its low boost and low revs...Ok there are cams and so on, htey definantly help, but the headwork is everything... if got christmas bonus coming up or something...speak to sergio...he knows whats he is doing and has proved it with my car.... If there are other guys doing the same thing, ask for charts, boost levels and revs, if they match up, go with them then... 50 hours went into the head of mine, including the lifters, retainers, springs, cams, valves and guides setup... i recon, spend the money there then buy the bolt on extras that all seem to make power... An SR with a GT28rs, management, injectors, manifold makes 180kw at 0.8bar boost.... mine at 0.35bar makes the same power....

Is it? stock SR20 with a small turbo upgrade vs. R100k+ purpose built racing motor that took over 18 months to build?

The output of that motor is brilliant, no one can deny, but just remember how much time and money went into it to make it that way.

Looking forward to seeing it on Saturday Hope its still going lekke in a few weeks when the S13 im doing is finnished, will be great to get some video of S13 SR20 vs. S13 SR20 both with 300+wkw

i concur - its really good news that its finally running, i also cant wait to see this car.
