The good news is that after more than 2 years of negotiations we finaly got the green light for PRETORIA'S own dragstrip.

The launch will take place on Sunday 21 October @ Tiger wheel and Tyre in Voortrekkers road in Pretoria. Starting @ 11h00 the morning and ending @ 23h00 at night.

I have spoken to one of the orginisers...we might be asked to show our cars and drifters.....

Is vootrekker being renamed to Mad Dog Raceway? I dont see a strip at TWT?

ODI has been revamped and is going to be reopened as Mad dog....
The 21st is just an promotional opening.....

True....it is a bit out, but people have a choice, drive to tarlton or wesbank or do it in the streets or drive 30km out depending where you are to a revamped upgraded safe drag track.
