Whats the price on custom plates?

That's to get THEM to do it. If you buy the personalised plate from the traffic dept it's cheaper. I paid R1000 for a 3-letter 3-digit personalised plate. It's more if you go with letters only, and the fewer the number of characters, the more it will cost.
