Calling everyone with modified clutches.

Ok my clutch is slipping now when I boost at 1Bar, just too much torque going through it I imagine.

I know Draco and Chemcool have 6 puk copper clutches... what are these like to drive?? I use my car everyday so cant have a "on/off" type clutch. Can you still slip your clutch when parking?? Do you need to go to gym to push the peddle??

That would help if you have a double diaphram pressure plate but not sure if you can get them.

Bigger clutch master makes it stiffer if it's mounted in the stock location.

if you don't mind a stiffer pedal then I would rather get a pressure plate with a stronger clamping force and use a "normal" type clutch.

Or if you go 6 puck, then just don't buy the solid hub one, the shutter like mad.

We have 5 puk copper clutches with the springs, we drive with it everyday, you get a bit of shudder now and then but you get to know it then you basically pull away normally, the double diafram is hard in the beginning but it gets better as you grow stronger or use to it.....you can also use a slightly smaller thrust bearing, I found that it helps with the heavy footing.

Nismo makes an oversized slave cylinder for the CA and RB's. Apparently that reduces the travel and effort on your pedal.

And pricing was reasonable too.

The Nissan Patrol has a vacuum assisted clutch master cylinder.... got 1 on the shelf... but then again, no such problem with an autobox

The nismo ones help a bit with pressure but not much, im using them on about 4 cars now including my RB, the main reason is due to the stockers leaking after a few months of a potent presure plate.

Pricing to me seems steep :(
