Its not 40k

Gearbox and Motor - R15000
Management fitted - Dictator - R4000
Cooler piping - R1500
Cooler - R1000
Driveshaft - R1500
Fitting Motor - its about 4k in PE, or R1500 if you supply parts and material...

Thats - R28000.... im sure it could be done for less.... - make up own boost pipes - use an s14 cooler or something - dictator - costs about 1500 if you know someone, wire it up yourself... mapping is like a grand....
Could be looking as low as R18500 with some help from some friends.... Had this setup doen but in another car... cost the R28000...that included the exhaust, surge tank, extra fuel pump, moving the battery, and ive got launch control.....

No where near 40k.... Ran 0.6 bar - 245kw on the fly...

Cool ...

Well there you go R 30 000

I just have one question (Not causing Shit at all) , What about the RB rebuild?
You will need to at least replace the belts, Cam belt, water pump, TURBO rebuild maybe ,maybe oil pump on any imported motor.

Minimum a service, Possibly a clutch depending on motor condition

also what about the harness, ,Rev counter calibration, Electric fans and so on. Never Mind Air con, power steering . ect

To me there two options, Do the swap to like a drift pig it can be done cheaply and who cares about the Speedo and rev counter also if it blows smoke an dies after 6 months.

And then theres doing it right, It up to who ever is doing the Swap

No just saying a RB26DETT would be cool. I mean that is "the skyline" motor, just would be cool.

I agree gary, and also i dont think many people have done it. ive seen one or two on youtube buts thats about it. but i think for an everyday drive the 25 is perfect for power. but then again its never enough once its in.
