Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

To keep everyone in the loop:

Today Sokar, Bruno, veecee and I met with the "thunder valley" raceway guys. They will soon be re-branding and calling themselves "The Rock Raceway" and they are very excited about it. They are situated in Brakpan just off Snake road offramp.

They want to be the home of drifting and other motorsport in South Africa, so they have invited the drifters from Wesbank as well as the SX club to participate in their launch. They would like us to show off our cars, and for the drift guys to put on a drift show at the launch, which they hope will happen in November or December. We're quite excited and we're waiting for them to finish building their facilities (tarred oval track with grand stand, big screen, sound, light, laser lights, etc.).

This will be the replacement for Wesbank.

anyway, The Rock has the potential to be a fantastic place to hold events, so hold thumbs that it doesnt rain over the next two weeks (unlikely) so that the tar can be laid.

big ups to them for having the kahounas for this.

This is great news, noticed they have been busy there

The name is ironically quite fitting

heard rumours that they want to put speed bumps in apex

do they plan to do the wednesday night thing?
