Remove hose for extra kws?

Friend of mine bought a S13 this week too. Says SDP pulled some hose off somewhere in the area of the turbo and now the car goes like stink.
I'm guessing it's something to do with the actuator and now the car is boosting more? Is this safe? advisable? If yes tell me where that hose is!

mmm, not good I thinks, he is over boosting as the wastgate will remain closed, pipe goes from the wastgate actuator/canister to the Turbo Housing(I think) cant remember that well.
There are many factors to consider, fueling or lack there of(detonation), increased pressure on the internals, strain on the Turbo etc etc.. All in all something will probably break, depending on the condition and/or his setup of the car.

I'm with Euro on this one... Might go like a stink if you pull that hose, but its going to stink in his garage while he fixes the problems it caused.

you will really lessen the life of the turbo if you boost it out of its efficiency range.
if its an actuator vacuum/boost pipe that was removed, then that is whats happening and he will have to fork for a new turbo soon.
