It would be nice if we all go away for a weekend? Take the cars on the long road (if someone remembers fuses, someone jumper cables, someone tow robe

)
We could go the friday, sleep over friday and saturday night and come back sunday after brunch, then wifes, girlfriends, partners will surely come?
We can take our own food, webbers, gas braais, and we're set?
Just a thought

i think its a fantastic idea...
but, my fiance' is almost ready to pop, so i dont think the whole family will be able to make it.
but i could always make it a guys weekend from my side, bring a friend along, and get nice and drunk and act like a hooligan.

The other day I made it to Hazyview and back. Used up a bit of petrol/oil and I think I have a warrant or two in Mpumalanga but the car actually loved the long road.
We'll just take enough towing equipment and tools with, just in case

I like this idea. yes buget permitted. But I admit. That R40-00 is nice and cheap. I think the sx's will make it. Good time to run in some engins.

Why not, lets do this?

It sounds good to me, and a SX loves the open road. I did over 2000km in march this year while i was on leave down by the south coast. Getting almost almost 14km/L at one stage.

My Sx is still totally stock, even the exhaust (except for rear silencer) and i was on holiday and in no rush. My baby girl was only 4 months old, her first time at the beach and she loved it. I can do with another holiday like that.
