You only realize what you have once you start to work on your own car.
I always thought my car's engine was stock and never opened.
My head gasket popped because water and oil mixed or so I thought??
After stripping the head off, I was surprised to find ARP head bolts and cometic head gasket.
Strange because it had stock management, stock turbo, stock manifold and stock FPR when I bought the car.
The head gasket was still perfect. The previous guy never bottomed the ARP head studs, probably didn't have the correct size allenkey , or never torqued it properly, so the head bolts actually came loose.
After grinding a new socket and allenkey, I got the head bolts torqued with new head gasket.
Lesson learnt, do you own thing and never assume....
