Ok guys

My S13 CA18DET only cranks and cranks. There are fuel, spark ,compression and cas checked out 100%.
This happend before and went checking everything and for some reason it started and ran about a month now again same issue.
never knowing what caused the engine not to fire.
I have not done the Self Diagnostics test yet.

Is it possible that it is flooding so much that it does not start.

Maybe it is the cold start valve or Coolant temperature sensor playing up.

Any other imput is greatly appreciated

Are your coil packs earthed?

Yes pretty much sure it is earthed. Left the car and walked home .

It was only 4 km from my home at the Hospital.
Will go and work on it as soon as the rain stops.

Thanx for input bud

Update
After work i asked a buddy to drop me where my car were standing and waited to give me a tow back home incase the car did not start.

Got there and first swing and the car stated no issues.
Is it possible that it could be the fuel pump busy on its way out because it freaquantly took longer to start when the engine was hot than when cold ?

Will do diagnostics this weekend and check for possible fault codes.

Cheers

Update diagnostics give code 43= TPS and 13= coolant temp sensor.
Dont have spare ones to check if it is that but was fiddling yesturday and got it to start while it was hot .
put my spare CAS in also and re do advance and retarded timing spot on.

Will check and swap on known good ones and redo diagnostics. just need to clear the old codes first.
