Hi guys,



The R33 GTR has always been the JDM car Ive wanted, sadly they were out of my price range at the time of finding a clean one and then the rx7 came along.

Fast forward nearly 2 years and I saw an unfinished R33 project for sale. Phoned the guy and turns out it is a mate of mine from Primary School's car. In other words got a serious family discount :troll: Thanks for coming so we purchased the car.

Interior has recently been re-done in leather with white stitching
Car has been resprayed Pearl White
Brand new Top Secret bodykit

Also got the following with the car:

1x stock bonnet
1x brand new carbon vented bonnet
a set of brand new Wedssport 19's with brand new falken 255/40/19 tyres
1x stock bumper
1x Top Secret Bumper
1x half cage

Bit of a bargain I think :hurray:

Anyways motor apparently has forged CP pistons and new ACL bearings, head has been flowed and has aftermarket cam gears.
Needs oil pump, waterpump, cambelt and other odds and ends that have or will be bought asap so we can get the motor built and in the car.

Still need Ecu, wastegate, Turbo, exhaust manifold, full exhaust, gauges etc

new water pump
Tensioners
Timing belt
New rear GTR badge

Will be ordering the following tonight after finding out best prices all over

Tomei oversize oil pump ($1100)
Tomei oil restrictor ($50)
Tomei headgasket 87mm ($185)
Splitfire coilpacks ($320)

Hopefully will have the engine sorted within the next few weeks

Car will be going in for full respray as some areas need touching up and to match the pearl is a mission to match.. Once again got a good deal so will be done soon :thumbup:

So my parts from Japan arrived

Bought these Falkens today



265/35/18 all round

Got them for a steal :troll:

Tried on the wheels I got with the car







I didn't like the look so I sold them

Then purchased some Rota Grid 18s from a mate



Needs some spacers



I think they will look insane when motor is in and car is lowered







Made some storage space to keep all the spares

Next on the list for this cab is a respray.. I want immaculate job done so on the hunt for a decent place for a respray in Gloss white.

Going to remove the bulky sideskirts and swap another fella with his stock skirts

While car goes in for respray we will be assembling the motor. I decided to rather put in forged rods now while the motor is out because I know when the car is running there is no way im gonna be pulling the motor out to change the rods. Found some PEC rods locally for a decent price so gonna purchase them soon
