SILVIA_S14 wrote:Tell me do you have to take off the bottom end part to take off the chain or can you avoid that by just opening up the tappet cover and releasing the chain from the top to remove the head?
To take of the head I would do it in this order more or less:

Remove spark plugs.
Remove exhaust Manifold.
Remove intake manifold. (take nice pictures of where everything went)
Take off Valve cover
Look at your pulley on the crankshaft and turn it to one of those notches... take a pic( I would take off the fan with cover for easy access)
Make tippex marks on your cam shafts to be able to put it back the way you find it(unless you know how to do the whole Top dead centre etc. thing)
Open your CAS and mark it + pictures of everything
Have a couple of beers
Now you can start to loosen bolts holding the Cams and rocker stopper... start at the middle working you way out not too much at a time.
Take cams out tilting to the side to get the chain off.
Loosen head bolts and remove head...

This is just a quick run through out of my head so if I missed a couple of things sorry.

Good Luck!

Very good steps, also if you've never taken off a camshaft before loosen the camshaft caps evenly from the outside in step by step to prevent cracking or snapping the cam

Shame......
And I was seriously considering buying it as well, car seemed to be well sorted.

Hopefully you can fix it properly and get it back to the level it was.

Because their is no oil in that chamber . This is just what im thinking....
