Nissan 200SX Club - South Africa

Hope this is the most apt board index for this so mods please move if you disagree.

I have been looking for gaskets for my S13 CA18DET for two weeks now, and it has been escalated all the way to Nissan SA who cannot seem help. I know that I can order OEM from eBay, but was hoping this thread could gather some community experience as to where you can find which types of new parts.

Turbo to manifold, exhaust manifold to engine and a bunch of other odds and ends, but mostly I was hoping to help others with a list of suppliers in SA.

The two Nissan dealerships I have spoken to seem to be clueless nor willing to help...Nissan SA claims that they have no parts at all.

I know dealers can be clueless when it comes to these cars, but I call BS on Nissan SA claiming they have no parts. If parts are not in stock they can be ordered most of the time. Most parts for these cars are still available in Japan.

Thanks enzio, I think I'm going to chain myself to the parts desk of my nearest nissan dealer tomorrow morning, until I get a confirmed order out of them. The phoning, emailing and verbal abuse has clearly not helped

U can try AutoZone and MasterParts as well.

Ok, you guys were absolutely correct! I went to my nearest Nissan dealer instead of phoning them and we could find and order every single part!

So the conclusion is this: your 200sx is alive an well in SA, you just need to speak to the right person, in person
