Nice work! I often notice people install remote oil filters facing down. Is there a reason for this? Because my first guess would be to install the opposite way so that there would be minimal spills when changing filters.

When draining oil out the sump the filter will empty quicker as its higher then the sandwhich plate and fluid will travel down.
Ok so I acquired my turbo, GT3076R Garrett, need to change the hotside to one smaller as I'm not planning on going VE head. Also received a fabricated intake manifold that I'm currently prepping... Decapped some scooby wrx injectors so should flow around 880-900cc.
Pics of manifold test fit
Injectors (decapped on the left)
And test fit for Blower
Paint colour for intake and valve cover!
That's it for now...

Injectors (decapped on the left)
For future reference to other forum members this is a terrible idea since there is no way to ensure accurate flow rates, proper spray pattern, pressure drops over injectors, injector latency or injector reliability over the long term.
I know some Subaru guys in Australia do it but this is a very risky thing to do and an easy way to kill your engine.
Gizmo I am surprised you are taking this route since you are doing some proper work on the rest of the build. Why not just buy a proper set of matched injectors?

Having owned my scoob ej255 and being part of socsa for a while, more then 50% of member decap their injectors for e50 maps, I had my injectors tested and currently flow 820cc @ 3bar with less then 2% difference... Spray pattern is still great in-terms of atomization too.
You should read up more on the scoob injectors perhaps
