u dont need anything special for a rb and dicktator. Check that your alternator is charging make sure you grounding is good a bad ground could make the kak make sure everything is grounded right coils ecu alternator make sure there is a ground cable from batt to motor and from batt to chassis

And look for a deep cycle no maintenance battery.

I phoned a battery centre and they said a deep cycle battery is ment for a car with a lot of electronics and not realy for cold cranking, so not to sure now but to me i would think deep cycle will be best as they said a normal lead acid battery lifes span drops by more than half if battery is draind more than 80%, can anybody recommend a battery brand they have used that is real good quality and does not cost a arm and leg, thanks for all the input guys, i just dont want to waist more money.

It is true that "normal" batteries have greater cranking power, slightly, but they are only able to put out that power for a very limited time where a deep cycle can keep that power for more cranks and not die as fast.

I use to use AC Delco/Deltech for my sound competitions. They are more expensive then the normal makes but not close to the optima's prices.

I got 1 for my diesel car as well and those need high cold crank current and the varta is performing very well!

I also have a varta in my sx now that I think of it and I am powering the wolf 3D, larger fuel pump, Water/Meth, ignition amplifiers, electric fans and the normal electronics.
