Power Steering Pump

Hi guys. I got a noise seems coming from the power steering pump not a whining noise just like some odd now and then metal to metal screech sound from it some times when i turn the steering to either sides also. I checked the fluid level and it seems ok but the supply pipe seem it have some air in cause I can hear cavitation going on there not exactly sure.
Is my pump busy on its way out or what seems to be the problem I am not sure ?
Any help much appreciated.

Sorry ...It is for my CA18DET . I am thinking of taking my pump apart and see if there is a problem.

mine also makes a wining noise at full lock

Think i got some contaminated steering fluid...Took a sample and not bright see through red color and found water in it. So i am flushing out the system and put new fluid in.

Update ...new fluid in old out but still the same.
This means taking the pump out and refurbish it.
