No Dump, and Boost low....Cracked downpipe...

So all oss a suden the car does not want to hold boost at 1.2bar anymore. Then two weeks ago it does not want to climb over 06bar an higway it will creep to .8.
Also no more dumping. checked everything, and yesterday heard a exhoust leak. BIG crack on the downpipe...
Culd this be my problem?

That's after the turbo so it should still boost.

I know, just can figure it out, checked every where also for vacuum leaks and replaced all vacuum hoses, still the same, and all three these things happen at once, it is cracked almost right around right at the flange on the turbo....bout a 4mm crack...almost 6cm long....

Take your air intake pipe off of the turbo comp housing, feel if there is play on the shaft fornt to back or accessive side movement.
When you pull ot push the turbo shaft it must have no play, if it has, there's your problem.
Taking the compressor housing off will looks like this...

sure its the turbo seen you are boosting that turbo to its limits

Hey Jason, already checked the turbo, as that was my first guess ( i am not at the limit, i am OVER it), but everything feels still ok....
Also no chiped Blades....
Any other ideas other than mu "way" overboosting turbo...

the shaft is adjustable try adjust it to the max should hold

Stock isn't adjustable.
