Please help me, I want to do some weight reduction. But keep in mind I dont want a race stripped car (maybe at a later stage)

So far I have removed sparewheel, radio and speakers.

My goal is to dip into the 12sec on the quatermile. (@ 1bar boost as it will cost me another R8000 before I can turn the boost up as they recon my injectors are leaning out at 1.1 bar.

Take out the aircon pump, back bumper inside....take out the big metal bar, same with the front, take bonet and both front fenders off and take it to a fibre glass guy to mold and match paint.....thats about as far as you can go without starting to strip oem parts inside....

You can cut out sections of the metal bumper reinforcing. I'm not sure what you call it, but it's the metal backing BEHIND the bumper.
You can also take out the sound deadening material under the bonnet.

And that's all I can think off.

Stephan has spare fenders and a bonnet actually....I would start with taking the sound deadning and rubberiser under the carpets out, the carpets in teh boot, front bar behind the bumper and maybe the back.... after this its the carpets, roof lining, etc....the fenders might be good idea but make sure you take it to a guy that knows his shit otherwise its just gonna look worse....this would maybe be a chance to look at wide body front fenders and in frp......i know creative rides, bryce can hook you up with them(origin).... As for dipping into the 12's, that sounds awesome.... What kind of power are you making, about 250kw on the wheels or what? I have an RB running at 0.6 bar with 200 on the wheels... let me know, im keen to get mine to hook up...is your stock with a cooler?

Im making at this moment 300kw @ 1bar boost.

Ran a 13.5 @ 180 at Brakpan(unprepared track)

thats obviously 300kw on the flywheel? im running 245kw on the fly, and a bud is running a gt3040r on his and getting 345kw at 1.55 bar...

is it flywheel with standard turbo?

I speak under correction, as far as I know that is on the wheels.....

whatever it is is serious...the reason i ask wheels or not is because Rezlo's car made teh 345kw at the fly, which is about 260 on the wheels....somethings either wrong there or something.....ifs its 300kw on teh wheels, i cant wait to sort out mine then

Whell I for one is not surprised, a RB 25 engine with the works will make that power easily, the last dyno sheet I saw it was well over 300kw's, I think it was around the 360 mark if I am not mistaken but that was with 1.5 boost or higher...can't remember....

That is 300 @ the wheels (manny marino's dyno)

I made 360 @1.3 bar boost but on the dynopack (hub dyno)

Since then changed the turbo housing so that we could get the turbo spooling up sooner.
