Hi Guys

having just sold my WRX I decided to fix the rust spot in my yard(formerly an E30 BMW )...It has no Engine so im looking at various options and the idea of a 2lt turbo looks good when compared to a straight six 12 valve BMW engine...

What sort of price range does an Sr20det with 5 speed gearbox go for?

hmm been a while since i checked but jap auto had them for 9k and 12 depending on red top or black top. and a box should be around 3500 give or take

Probably would have to add R2000 to your estimate to equal Cape Town Prices...We're getting ripped off on engines down here. Funny thing is, it comes in by sea and JHB has no sea - means its shipped up and yet cheaper there than it is at the coast

A couple of Nissan SR20s would pull a premium one week before race wars.

Mikes place keeps all the decent engines.
