Yep, seems my baby is worth more in spares then as a car. Had her for 8 years now and hate not being able to drive her when it rains. C-thru does help a little when the boost withdrawal gets too bad.
Thanks Rat and Riekert. As far as I could tell their not the same.

If you have owned it for 8 years you should know better than to look for a new one in SA.
Import a new one, but that would be my last resort. Take it apart and rebuild/repair it - it is probably something small like a bad connection or worn out brushes.
That is the only advice anybody can give.
And for the record I also have a spare rear one, LOL

I am sure there is a scrapyard with a Sx in somewhere in Sa.

Thanks for the advice guys.
Took the motor apart and the plastic gear inside disintegrated. Found a guy on gumtree that rebuilds wiper motors. If I dont find a second hand one I'll probably have it rebuild, for now I'll be aplying liberal amounts of C-thru if the weather does not play along.
