Re: Projekto Streeto!
I hate to give probably useless infomation, but here goes anyway...
Iv'e often heard that removing the diff centre, from a R200 mind you, required quite a lot of coaxing with a pry bar.
I'd imagine it wouldnt be any different for you.
For what its worth here is a link I bookmarked for the day I eventually got around to it.
http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_im ... et_LSD.pdf
I did have one by a guy doing a writeup on shimming a diff that had more detail and pictures of the actual centre removal, I cannot find it though.
Good luck to you

Re: Projekto Streeto!
Ah thanks for trying to help Daniel, much appreciated. .. figured it out anyway.. there are sneaky shims that are squeezed between the Diff and the housing to make it all fit snug.. as soon as I released one of the shims it all came loose and just lifted out. yay.

Re: Projekto Streeto!
lol.. been experimenting with shift nobs.. tried this for a day ..
Also got some new wheels... 17's .. super light - used by a 350Z race team .. no Mad widths or ET's just very light! so not stancy .. but the idea was to use these wheels 'if' I ever use the S15 on an auto X day or whatever.
So was playing with colors today.. I way preferred black but thought id try bronze for a bit.. maybe i'll get used to it.
Also thought id post a shortcut trick I learnt from a buddy 'filthy_zn' recently .. normally id spend ages taping the tyre up so there's no overspray.. but he gave me a bunch of quick note pages .. after prepping the wheel ( sand / thinners / prime with matt paint) you slot these cards in-between tyre and lip and just go mad. Did all 4 wheels to a level guys pay 3 grand for at a shop in under 2 hours. win
anyway.. here it is.. a bit loud .. but i'll give it a go...

Re: Projekto Streeto!
yes the diffs are.. but you must just use the flanges to match .. so as an example S13 flanges with s13 center diff in a S14 diff housing.Skippy wrote:Are the S13-14-15 diffs interchangeable ?

NB - If you want to mix and match diff centers and Crown Wheels / ratio hunting then plz note you will need to drill out the Crown wheel bolt holes on the Diff center from the m10 ( S13 ) to the M12 diameter ( s14 / S15 )
Thanks, pretty hard to make a S15 look bad though, even if the wheel color is Loud as fk.. but im some how enjoying it ATM ha ha.. but i did buy a dark bronze spray can at lunch .. so will 'ammend' it asap.

Re: Projekto Streeto!
prepping the Silvia for Car Show. Luckily I've acquired a new sponsor " OCD Detailing " who gave the S15 a large amount of shiny love... its looking stunning. this week I will lower it a bit and hide it from dust.
Also .. bit of a dilemma... I cant decide between Bronze or Satin or Gloss black for the wheels.. so I just made one side Satin Black and the other Bronze. Opinions? Gloss black ( use imagination ) is making more sense in my Head atm.
whos a lucky boy then...
