Project RATTO !

Post by BigKriss »

Got back on Saturday and clocked into the shop this morning.
Got my guys busy on the latest project , project Ratto !
She was shipped down from Uvongo last week Wednesday to our shop.
Saturday I got the final piece I needed to fix her up, the bonnet.

With a bit of luck she should be done by Friday.. 8)

:D well, i guess the progress is ok...
you could have made your dudes work 24 hour shifts and be driving it already. Now that would be impressive

You serious about considering the LS Swop bud?
If you keen on putting the motor as low as mine. You dont have to fit the dry sump.
Only after i fitted it did i come across a Ls - S14 swop where the motor was as low, SImply with a Sump modification.
They then moved the pick up pipe and moved the bowl.

So it is possible without the cost of dry sump.
But drive the thing first bud. Take it out. Im sure that will make up your mind about what engine to slap in.....

JA,JA...Suppose I could have.. 8) 8)

The LS1 S14 swap is big in the states . You can actually purchase transplant kits that supply everything you would need for it..
Looking forward to driving her bud, thanks..

Thursday update...the bumper took some time, it was buggered !!
