I have asked this before but i have to make sure before i do something

im running a stockish CA18 etc... when for example i run through 1st gear up to 7000 rpm i can select 2nd till the revs match road speed on the gearbox (makes a scratching winding sound and it doesn't want to select) are all 200sx's like this or is my box gone? or could it be the clutch?

i don't want to change the box and then it does the same?

also i can get a second hand box from japan auto, has anyone ever bought one from them? is this advised? they offer a month guarantee on it.

I got a box for u but I seems like clutch. Is it only in selecting 2nd or all gears

only to second when you hammer it, also from third when you gear back hard to 2nd into a corner it scratches. but when you drive nicely the box is clean?

Can be clutch can be selector for 2nd.
