knock\detenation sensor

Post by robldepo »

Hey guys hope ure all keeping well. I have a problem

I was busy puting back my gearboks this weekend when I realised that one of the holes on my starter is stripped so I had to pul the sterter so I can fix it needless to say, so there's me trying to get the starter out and guess what I managed to break, yes break my knock sensor I swear this car is testing my pations never the less I asume its not safe to try and drive the car without one so I was wondering if anyone out there has a knock sensor for a CA lying around that they can sell to me?

Thanks in advance
The way things are going now I'm going to set the car on fire before I ever get to drive it.

Can drive with the knock sensor out/unplugged. Car will run in a safe map.

Tests ones patients extremely  but the joys of gassing it when all is in order is priceless [smilie=200sx_2guns.gif]

Will still run in "Granny mode" - will keep my eyes peeled if I happen to bump into one
