I have been looking at the Contano hubs, they have good reviews. Just not sure what bearings they use.

I'll take some pics of all the stuff that I plan on installing over the next few weeks before painting.

Was cleaning out the cellar in my house over the weekend and found boxes of goodies that I've collected over the years for this build. Trying to get it organised so that when the mechanicals are done, the suspension and bodywork can commence.

Was hoping to have it 100% complete by end of May, but the booking for the management install has about a 3 week waiting period.

Okay folks... I think an update is looooooong overdue!!!

So! I finally have a bit of progress / feedback!
SR swap went by without any major complications until it was time for installation of the ECU. The car was dropped off at JMS in Boksburg for installation of the Haltech and for it's associated dyno. This happened over 3 months ago. After many phone calls and visits to said "Tuner", the car was eventually fetched from them about 2 weeks ago.

It was then taken to RBTS where within a week the following issues where discovered:
1. The unit was installed and then removed as to "hide" any mistakes that may have been made.
2. The Ignition output No 1 is dead and is not providing any signal.
3. The unit itself has been opened up and tampered with as there are signs of irregular soldering and electronic components fitted do not appear to be genuine Haltech parts.

In my opinion these so-called tuners at JMS f*cked it up! There is no other way to put it!

I will now collect the unit and have it shipped back to Australia for repairs. The shipping and customs costs alone total almost R2000... NOT COOL. The technical support for Haltech are very helpfull and even offered to do technical support on the phone if needed.

This has really set me back as I was hoping to have the car done by end of June this year...

On a lighter note:
My TE37's arrived - no not replica's
Took my Nismo cluster apart and gave it a good clean
I will go and fetch my car and store it in the basement at my office so that I can at least do some work on it in the meantime in preparation for the bodywork and interior. This will also finally give me the opportunity to take off and photograph many of the parts for sale to guys like Jason & Keagan... my apologies for being slack on that.
