Epic Super Drift weekend in Durban.. my car was Strong like Bull for 3 days until the power steering gave up on the last practice session.. but all in all im very happy. Got to meet some of you guys which is always nice to put a face to forum name...

However my RELIABLE Volvo family car is out of order, so the wife is using the S15 and im using Frank to get to work this week, so im very happy I didn't break anything serious or put it in the wall like quite a few other guys did.

I came to watch the practice sessions on Saturday. It was awesome, your sx looked like it was going strong and some nice drifting in the practice sessions!

Hopefully I will be there competing next time.

Did a Time attack event at Dezzi's this weekend... Awesome weekend.

Unfortunately because i was driving down in the SX i decided against taking semis and just took my street tyres = Fail. Car was a handfull on track but nonetheless it was ton if fun as i dont mind sideways and considering my very loose setup on my drift tyres i did respectable times .. when i was going the right way .. lol.

As always i ran Low boost all day @ 0.9 & Motor held up exceptionally.. temps were again all perfect .. if anything running cool. When i run High boost im still getting DV flutter .. im guessing soft spring.. luckily im happy with 0.9 for this year

Only problem i ran into was my coilovers.. front right started knocking at the top pillow ball mount. Im not sure what the reason is yet but the D2 Coilovers have been faultless since i fitted them in 2009 i think. .. so cant complain.

hope the coilovers are fine but a decent life if fitted in 09

Yip... this current motor has been a little legend... its major flaw being ULTRA LAG due to the Midas Special turbo.

New motor will hopefully be going in soonish. Then im considering moving more towards Time Attack stuff in 2014 with the Rezlo motor in... really looking forward to it.

... given Frank no love since the time attack at Dezzis... when I got the coil over knock. then this last weekend I had a look at it and felt ashamed... flat tyres, Cob webs... so I decided to get cracking at sorting the issues and doing some cheesy little mods ive been wanting to do for ages... for shits n giggles...
