Pretty straight forward bud. Big thing to remember is that oil does not run uphill when it needs gravity to work . Pump 1/2 of crank speed , a VERY GOOD swirl tank of sufficient size and volume with very good anti aeration baffling to get the air out before it is used again.
Check out NASCAR stuff and follow, they don`t make or design crap..
Check out Peterson website, Granatelli etc..They all make pumps and have some serious info on their websites.
One pressure side and two scavenging sides should do the trick. You may under serious cases want to scavenge the head as well but I'm not going there at the mo..
Solid mount brackets are a must as any vibration will have that pump trashing around under your car not doing very much good.
Pump to be fairly well sized for the application and chuck it through some good and large diesel type filters and coolers because you can.

Busy removing engine today...rather excited.

Scavange from the head will definitly not be neccesary.

Jirre, what a fcukin mess !! 10 tuners shit in the engine bay including some of mine..

GT3582R is in superb condition still ! I am amazed, 50k serious abuse kay`s and its still like the day I bought it. Am rather impressed.
Will strip all the crap out , paint the bay white and start afresh with everything.

and that's my downfall ! I have to always make it better than new before I`m happy !

Yup, perhaps a 10mm adaptor [plate as some of the studs/bolt holes don`t quite line up. RB26 also has more mounting studs..

and found out why my knock sensor was being triggered occasionally...mounts are fubarred.
Cannot really expect 20 year old rubber mounts to be in top condition I suppose. I have those I got from Germany but they are real suspect.
Time to make limiting cages fior the std mounts, luckily I still have two full sets here..

Yup, got it like that. Not going to change all that now. Besides, am doing the GT water cooling mod so that takes care of that.

Do you pump cold water through the intake now? You going to use a Phenolic gasket between head and intake?

Gary, no. Normal heated water as per normal circulation out from the head . The std. manifold is used as a high point bleeder setup, small little breather holes only. Works very well once bled properly.
I really did not need to do this , just that I did not like the look of the std. manifold/collector.
It also uses the large part of the manifold to direct bypass bleed air to the individual runners when using the 6 throttle setup. From that aspect I wanted to do away with it all so went this route.
Was used in the GT race cars by some top teams yonks ago. Total overkill here but it does look rather lekka ! 8)
