I also found out that the piston guide (shaft thing) is worn out on piston one. that was what was making the knocking sound... so no I need to pull Piston no 1 and replace the piston and conrod with a known good one.... sigh... well at least I know whats going on...
Need now to buy a second hand turbo (pref T25, T28) and get that CAS from Nizmo.... hopefully the beast will run sooner than expected... The motor will still be up for sale after everything is running again. then at least the prospective buyer can test drive it
