Check the pressure ratio and then decide if the turbine is big enough.
Water methis always good to have.

If I think of all the work to get the turbo off again....I'd rather go for water/meth...keep the boost the same or less...and add more timing...on top it's now 13 digrees...

You damn right...at some stage I had around 340 WHP with 19 digrees....but listening carefully we heard detonation...so we braught it down and ended on 13 digrees...
I thought of it last night....if I could be at the dyno again...I could set the boost down and add more timing and most propably make the same or more horses....

Today I installed steel 6mm pipes to the wastegate so that the pipes will not burn off and screw up the boost.
After that I went for a drive to try and sort the bottom and middle of the map...got that ok...goes much better on bottom and middle, as smooth as you could do it without a proper afr reading...
Then on the way back home...boosted...can't remember. What happened but the boost is gone...same symtom as a boost pipe that popped off...but all the pipes looks fine...
My idea was that either the wastegate is stuck open or the blow off valve is stuck open...another something Nico said might be is the turbo shaft snapped....but on idle the compressor wheel spins and when driving you can hear a "whistle" type sound as if the turbo is spOoling....but no boost.....it shows that the vacuum goes positive but it does not go into positive boost at all.
So the car stands till I can get into it to see why there is no boost...
