Yeah it does, but now I have some good news!
I pulled the head yesterday. piston 3 does not fit any more, the intake side is melted away (look at the lefthandside) so I have some decisions to make, like I am feeling now, I am going to do a "power build" on my CA. Make it reliable with some boost.
But will have to decide.
Here is some pic`s from yesterday!

Not too bad, I am going to do a stock rebuild, with ACL bottomend bearings, New rings, skim the head, New Head Gasket, And ARP headbolts, Think It will be fine then! (I Hope

) Was thinking the same story to spray everything, But I do not have a garage, so will be difficult!

Funny Funny, CA leaks oil a lot, I will give that to you, but So does half of the other cars in the world. Maybe I must build a oil catch Pan underneath the crosmember to Save me some oils
But in any case. Rebuild here I come!

Will try and do it, but I am in kind of a hurry to get the car running again! so lets see what happens!
My car needs in anycase a respray, Previous owner had a cheap job done, They masked the doorhandles, and the arial rubber off and sprayed over it, so it need to be corrected!

Oky so I got my Nismo key this weekend! hehe, just a pity I cant use it now....

Thx Charl!
And anyone looking for a decent key, these keys is awesome, Workmanship on them is good, and a nice and heavy key! feels like you have something in your hand, not like my std key...
Weigh the more than my std key with immobilizer together!

Hi Guys, so its been a while, Was not really in the mood to pull the motor, but I am gonna pull it this Saturday, I am going to do a stock rebuild just for Japfest.
After that I am going to get another everyday and going to convert my SX to my drifter, so I am gonna Put in another motor, and my CA`s will be used in another long term project.
My drifter SX will probably be done next year July if everything goes to plan Just need to source the motor, and that is the pain in the backside at this moment, No importer can bring the motor in, and It will be the first in SA, so Watch this space!

Oky, so this weekend I pulled the motor, took out the old piston, and bearings, that was nicely, f*cked, put new Rings on one of my spare pistons, and what happens? the piston doesnt fit....
My old CA has got oversize pistons by the look of things, so, I had to rebuid my old CA, on Sunday morning at 11:30 my motor was in, but got a snagg, motor doesnt want to turn... so it has to come out once again... can anybody say CA fever? I am loosing it....
some pics.
my CA that came with the car, is back in.

Piston that got fried.

its bearing.

Just make sure your petrol pump is sorted, thats what happens when it cant feed the motor, and your on full boost at about 200km/h... bye bye piston
