I'd like to leave Joburgg by 6am. We could all meet up on the roof of East Gate mall by woolworths, and leave at 6am. Late comers can catch us up We're coming back on Monday morning, say leaving Durban at about 11am. Thoughts?

Toby... To skip traffic don't you think we should leave little bit earlier like 5:30-5:45 then there will be no traffic

Oh ya, forgot that it's a normal work day! Ok, we leave East gate @ 5:30am, which means we must be on the roof by 5am. Cool with everyone?

hey hubby getting new freelander, and now wants to take it down, me fighting ofcourse i want at least one of the sx's to come with so we thinking of hooking it up by towbar or trailer for the drive, anyone got a a line tow bar?
pro is if we do take the freelander, loots more boot space or all the spanners we'll be needing for all de brake downs

I live around there well actually like 20 minutes away and in the mornings the traffic is crazy there. like really i would stay away from there may be all meet at like wesbank parking grounds its jus a little down the road.. Any ideas.

Snooby, how bad is traffic at 6am by Giloolys? 'Cos in Midrand, which is quite a traffic-inflicted area, 6am is still light traffic. I still maintain that East Gate mall roof is the best area to meet up. There's a ramp that takes you over the highway and back on, so it's real quick to get back on the highway, and we'll be going against the traffic at Gilooly's, so it should be a breeze.

Its bad esp north bound.. south bound not so bad... but for me to get there at 6 i will have to leave my house at like 5.. and am like 20km away. may be we should meat further down the n3 away from the city... say like i dono where is a nice garage on that road that every one knows???

There isn't any, that's why I suggested East Gate. Also, we're *leaving* at 6am, we meet up there by 5:30am. That cool?

there's a garage on the N3 near heidelbrug somewhere. either just after the tollgate, or just before.

well the traffic is really bad north bound so i will be there lil earlier so that i dont hold you guys back... so i will be ther like 20 past 5
