Ja I hope so too...

The weekend I took off the waterpump, it's running off center  Going to go swap it around... Then then I'm going to clean everything up and take the car to someone... Not really in the mood to work on my car at the mo :x

raai 'n braai?

shot, need sumfin to do this weekend!
just you so far?

2c: i had a horrendous knock/ping sound after installing me waterpump - so much so that i only let it run for about 5 secs after starting - then i got scared. after taking everything apart again, it came out to be the "cambelt cover kinda thing" at the lower end that was hitting the pulley (huge relief) - maybe its just something in that line - mine also sounded like it was coming from deep within!

Well I'm hoping it is something small like that...

Returned the old waterpump yesterday, really funny that the waterpump was running off-center... Fitted the new one yesterday, just waiting for a helping hand to fit the timing belt then they car is ready to be towed.

Ok... SO I didn't take the car in this weekend... I was missing a boost pipe haha... Reason I had my SSQV flanch fitted, and I had to wait a bit as it was basically done for free.

Fitted my SSQV BOV

So now the car is ready to be towed and to be taken in... I actually want to find out if someone doesn't have a car trailer... one of those things that you load the front wheels on and you tow the car somewhere... better than doing the rope trick... And I only trust one guy in the rope trick... Slade 8)

Im better at being towed in a SX than driving the thing

sorry dont know anybody willing to lend their trailers out, even though i know someone with a flatbead trailer specifically designed for a racing car - he's a bit of a pontce - so he wont be keen.

apologies - i used an a-frame to tow my sx around when it needed panelbeating!!! cant you get one of those at a hire shoppe, or...

with your welding skills and sandblasting box, just make one!!!

Ok so the car went in Today... Huge thanks to my bud Danie for helping me out... I would not have been able to do it alone...

I must say it was a mission, the trailer was freaking heavy with the car on it it was F#CKING heavy, some uphills the poor Citroen Picasso could only manage 38km/h, poor 1.8L.

I dropped half a car off at Duane today, blerry bonet didn't fit back on after I moved the ABS, will need to get my ass around his place and try and sort it out, can't drive the car like that... Well you can  just last time the cops wasn't too happy with me.

As we tried to drive the car into his workshop, other oil-line was pissing out oil... And just a few weeks ago I took the other line in for new fitting as it was leaking. THOSE THING's ARE ABSOLUTE SHIT! MARK MY WORDS! The Cooler it self is cool, that FONG KONG line kits are not!
