Yeah just waiting for Ceiling Cat!

my buddies also DIY'ing there spraybooth, my buddy Willie said that its best if the extractor fans sit as low as possible, so what they are going to do now, is build a trolly with fans that fits under the garage door, then put filters on the windows.

We have the extractor fans on the windows at the moment, pulls the paint up, causing the over spray to rise... a bit of a problem when spraying MS Primer stuff goes everywhere...

IM ACTUALLY PUTTING IN THE ROOF & MY GARRAGE DOOR AT THE BOTTOM,
THE GUY WHO SUPPLYS ME PAINT ETC, SAID ALSO A GOOD TIP IS TO WET THE FLOOR WHEN SPRAYING, APPARENTLY AT ATTRACTS THE OVERSPRAY VERY EFFECTIVELY.

QUICK UPDATE...

I PRIMED THE BOOT. SO THE WHOLE INSIDE IS PRIMED & READY FOR
FINNISHING

Image

SOME QUICK ADVICE; GET MORE THAN ONE SPRAY GUN WHEN DOING A
REBUILD, ONE THATS NORMAL SIZE & THEN ONE SMALL ONE SO YOU
CAN GET IN & UNDERNEATH SMALL SPACES.

I THEN CUT HOLES WHERE THE REAR SEATS USE TO GO. THATS WHERE
THE 6 POINT ROLL CAGE'S REAR STRUTS GOING TO BE WELDED-ONTO
THE REAR SHOCK TOWERS. I ALSO SHAPED & WELDED A REINFORCING
PLATE INTO THE SHOCK TOWERS TO REINFORCE THE THIN SHEETMETAL
SO THE STRUTS DONT SHEAR THROUGH THE TOWERS IF THE KAK
HITS THE FAN.

Image
Image

I ALSO FABED THE MID & FRONT STRUT REINFORCING POINTS FROM
2mm STEEL PLATE. IM RATHER BANG-JAN AS DOOIE-JAN.

Image
Image
Image

I THEN ATEMPTED TO BEND 42mm x 2mm TUBE TO BUILD THE ROLL
CAGE BUT THE HAND HYDRAULIC BENDER IS KAK & F*&#$ UP THE
TUBING SO ILL GET A COUPLE OF BENDS MADE UP & BUILD IT IN SECTIONS.

ILL GET THAT DONE WHEN I HAVE MONEY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
