The last two piccies are where the 200sx had to be its own work horse. I transported one by long heavy square tubing something by something in the sx. I covered the tubing with Mom's home made blanket :lol:
This is the tubing I am to use for my block and tackle. So, the end is near:

And, did you all notice the oil filter is black??? But dont be afraid, I already bought orange for after first oil change :lol:

And then the alternator in pieces. I still need to rebuild this. Got the bearings.
See some difficulty ahead removing the one bearing.

BTW, why don't you paint the power steering and aircon mounts as well? I recommend PINK :lol: (to contrast with baby blue, you know...)

sure hopes that whatever is above that hole in the ceiling is strong enuff - i would hate to see "after" photos if the roof collapses (hope not jinxing it)

in that first pic of the crank alignment...

is that a potential leak i see developing in the oil pan to oil pump area????

VC, thanks again for crane , but situation like this:
1.Space in garage wont do.
2.I prepare for future use, block and tackle easy.

and the potential leak i am talking about is just past where the timing locator marks are pointing. in the corner on the right hand side!

and its a pity that that huge big bakkie fan is covering all that pretty red paint???

whats going to cover the green aircon, and the pink alternator???

I don't think that thing will leak there, you talking about the sump? I helped seal that pooka hence all the sealant
