I need shorter coils up front. The wheels do not clear the spring seat so I have had to wind them up. Less than 4mm clearance between wheel and spring seat . Thats what you have to deal with when you want to stuff big fcukoff wheels onto this car ... :D
They will fit the Stag better though.

Nah, this little engine is too good to drop me like that hey...

Wheels are going onto Nicks Stag. He has a 2.7 Tomei motor in it now making over 1200 hp. It is friggin insane..

It ran last \week for the first time.

Seriously chuffed with my little car today at Swartkops.
Ran consistent 16.4`s when the track was clear. Joined the big boys today , dispatched some with some slower cars rather easily .. C63 AMG is powerful out of corners though..and you can see the modern traction aids working when he gets out of shape. Battled with him on track, if I had more straight I would take him on sheer overtaking so I had to dive bomb him up at the table top. Also nearly lost it in the move..(place "shit pants " smiley here ).
My gearbox is no good though. Kept jamming up and not wanting to go into gear..Jumped out of 3rd in turn 4 and some times refused to come out of gear..Time for the new setup

Bloody Scirocco R played with me today ! Damn, he was just so much better everywhere ! Handled brilliantly and also pulled away from me once he got past ! Mmmm...

A fun day had by all, few people there so track was nice and empty ..New Dunlop slicks felt awkward but proved there worth in the times..Ill get used to them . :domo:

I have looked at AP but the prices are just crazy right now...After driving Nicks Stagea I really wanted the AP,s..

I am running Vari up front and they are superb. Track days are a pleasure. Still had the stock rears on the car and they were standing up well to the track abuse.
With the second set of calipers now leaking I commissioned Rinaldo from Vari to get the rears sorted out for me. This is really a bit of a silly purchase as std 350Z or Scoob rear discs and calipers would have worked just fine. They just do not have the bling of the Vari`s though.. 8) 8)

Might need a brake bias controller for the rears.

How they feel?
