These two guys had to work real hard to get by........Both of them I slacked off at the end of the straight so they could nip in..
Passing under a corner was verboten..

sounds like you had an awesome day :)
must be nice to run your car against other production cars and see how it fairs, and playing with GT3's sounds serious
any idea of any of the other powerfull "stock" cars times?

congrats on your car
praise for flying the nissan badge high [smilie=200sx_200sx.gif]

Leon`s GT-r R34 was running 1.54`s.....that thing is damn quick !
Farouk Dangor`s GT-r R34 was running two`s.
Some of the race BMW`s were under two solid..
The GT3 handled so much better than me and also stopped better, power wise, it was battling.
The blue Audi is the V10, sounded glorious when it finally managed to get past..It does not have the low end poke to get going, up top it runs !

... and I say this again... Absolutely love the work been done to this car and glad to see that you are enjoying it! It's not everyday that you have a car like an SX being used as a daily drive and a track toy on the weekend that not only looks hot, but goes like stink too.

Definitely one of my favourite threads on the forum!

I kept him behind to the run up cnr. to the main straight. He was weaving and bobbing a bit behind me to let me know he was there. Bud, trust me, I knew he was there !

Onto the straight I could pull away but knowing I`d hold him up for the next lap or so , I backed off at turn one to let him through , it is no fun holding someone up simply to swing dicks..
That damn Porsche handles hey !
The v10 Audi ? Meh, no big stuff either..It does run on top though..

Must tell you okes about the E30 BMW..It has an E39 M5 V8 in it, ran like stink in a straight line, was sh*t scary around corners !! Took me a full lap to dive bomb him at Wesbank as he matched my acceleration and then I backed off big time cause he looked like falling off !!
It was fun though...

Looking awesome!

Its always great to see a car being used on the track and not just as a show pony!

What camber setting do you have at the moment (front and rear)..... looks very very little! Perhaps look at that for the next track day, especially fronts if you are sitting with some serious understeer.

My S2000 camber on stock suspension is maxed out infront and the rear (S2000 can adjust rear camber, luckily). If I recall correctly Im at 2.5 rear and 2 infornt.... made massive difference on last track day. The car felt allot more planted through the corners and the turn-in was allot sharper..

Went round to Turbo Direct today. They have moved shop. They are now in Isando in a dingy little spot.
Found them after a geskarrel and bought my RB 26 turbo.
