no problem, exactly like driftz said, everything needs to be on the flyer that needs to be said,once you got all the info etc just let me know

This is a list of conditions from the rock:
HOSTING OF A JAPDAY FUN DAY @ THE ROCK RACEWAY –
PRESENTED BY THE NISAN 200SX CLUB 20TH NOVEMBER 2010

We have pleasure in advising that your proposal to host a Japanese Car Day - JAPDAY has been approved, with the following conditions and fees;

• The venue rental fee R5,000 excluding VAT, with additional fees listed;
• The amounts costed are based from 10am to 18h00;
• The Nissan 200 SX Club will not be entitled to charge any members of the public a entry fee into the property;
• The Rock Raceway has to be issued with names and cell numbers, as to who will be responsible for crowd control throughout the day;
• In terms of competitors entering into the event to partake in the various activities on the track it shall be mandatory for the club to test competitors for alcohol consumption;
• Bar and Kitchen to be run by the Rock Raceway – no profit sharing;
• No other food stalls will be permitted other than the resident stall holders of the Rock Raceway, namely, Magic Corn, Pancakes, Donut and Popcorn, Smokers Den and Biltong Man-no profit sharing;
• The Nissan 200 SX club is welcome to bring in stalls with car accessories, dyno etc, whereby the club can charge a stall rental fee for their own gain;
• Advertising of the event: All advertising will be done by Nissan 200SX club and display that the event is hosted by them. Once a write up of the event has been done please forward this to us with some photos in order for us to place the event on the Rock Raceway website www.rockracing.co.za

i will have 2 units to test for alchol so guys no drinking and flying during events please.racing stops at 5pm sharp.after that its party time so lets keep it clean please.I also need some volinteers for croud control that day..ie walking around and making sure there is no funny bussines 4 guys should do.

on the flyer side of things lets get one sorted without sponcers for now,as we have a bit of a time crunch regarding other club invites and the copy for the rock.we will just add them once they all sorted out if its not a issue guys?also need someone to do a write up of the event for the rock.....

Just a Q @Smooth.. what made you change the name of the event from Samurai Series to Japfest? Just checking before i start on the new logo...

i really like that logo driftz

i never knew it was called the samurai series before, but i personally think it should change back to that if possible

sounds better, more interesting, awesome logo already done

japfest has been done before, sounds kinda generic.....

my opinion

if its possible i think samurai series would be alot better

Ja i agree, i also prefer the "Samurai" part the most.. much more interesting. if the 'Series' part is the issue then we make it "Samurai Showdown" or something similar... though i dont even mind 'series' as it indicates there could be more to come, or in the very least that its a annual event.

I agree,2 main reasons,1 i want to keep samurai series as a bunch of events next year.2 japfest will become a yearly festival hopefully turn into a franchise kinda thing.samurai series is better of as just a club thing sort of like king of the hill thing.didnt forget about it,just thought it would be better to start the series next year this year was heavy for me becoming a dad,sorting out the rb and getting business sorted.but ja watch this space!
