Damn the odds laid heavily against me... Even my daily drive broke down 
Blerry Polo's pedal assembly broke, piece of bracket that holds up the clutch line broke clean off...
Started taking the thing apart, needed to remove the whole steering column and all, it won't be fixed by tomorrow but I have arranged another ride.
It looks like it broke before, previous guy did a crappy job of fixing it.
This whole extravaganza happened just after Sokar phoned and offered me a lift (Thanks bud), I had guests at my house they had to watch while a take apart the car, at 1:00 AM I came to realization that this thing is not going to be fixed tomorrow still have to grind & weld the thing together, phoned my sister demanded that she return my old lady's car, which she gladly accepted to do, so I can at least pitch up
Spent up until now trying to make the best of an lost evening - guests left, house is clean... Damn what a Friday night...

Yeah So I pitch up at Shell to meet the crew with my old lady's car (Freaking 1982 1500 GLS Automatic Golf)... Exchange some parts for cash and chatting away...
So we eventually leave something like 11:15 or so... As we hit the highway, the golf decides no way bru, you are not taking me to harties, starts hesitating allot, heard some backfires, some black smoke from the exhaust... and the engine dies... Had to get towed home by Outsurance support guys Haha... it was free.
Get home like 13:00 or so... Immediately get working on the Polo, get her up and running about 15:30... but I thought it was too late to shoot through to harties...
What a delightful day.
I sincerely apologize to everyone that I missed the event... I tried I really did, my luck with cars well it's not great.

i think you should buy a bicycle vlade - you and cars are obviously not friends anymore. either that, or you should suck it up and apologise to whatever car for whatever it is that you've done wrong. your sx must be a woman, cos you've done something wrong, and she's gone and told all her friends - and now they all hate you!!!
i must also apologise. after saying that i would make, things turned out differently. sorry woohaa!
my sx also decided that enough was enough, and has decided to develop a slight misfire since i washed the engine bay. i figured it would go away but it didnt.
i serviced it with brand spanky new filters, and oil, and plugs, and recalibrated settings such as idling, timing, etc; and i also went through the electrics with a fine tooth voltmeter thingy, but i couldnt find it yet.
so that was saturday and sunday!
